Vinegar and baking soda are great allies in cleaning, and with them you can also make a great homemade softener. To do this, pour the vinegar and oil into a container. Add the baking soda little by little. At this point, the liquid will start to bubble. Don't worry! It's normal. Stir until it forms a homogeneous mixture, then transfer it to the container in whichYour softener is now ready to be used.

2. white vinegar softener

This recipe is bang on! You will need only two ingredients: white vinegar and essential oil. Add the oil to the vinegar and mix the two together for about a minute, or until they form a uniform liquid.

3. conditioner with hair conditioner

Another easy recipe with products you have at home is hair conditioner softener. First dissolve the conditioner in hot water, then add the vinegar and mix. Easy and fast.

4. softener with coarse salt

Another option to make at home is the coarse salt softener. Unlike the previous ones, it is solid. To use it, just put two to three tablespoons in the machine during the rinse cycle. To make the compound, mix the oil and the coarse salt in a container. Then add the baking soda and mix some more.

5. softener with glycerin

It is also possible to make softeners out of glycerin. To do this, cut the softener base into small pieces, add 8 liters of water and bring it to a boil, stirring until completely dissolved. Heat the remaining 12 liters of water, but do not let it boil. Mix these 12 liters of warm water with the dissolved base. Add the glycerin and keep stirring. When cool, add theessence and the softener, and you're done!

6. homemade concentrated softener

Do you know those concentrated softeners that have a creamy consistency and usually leave clothes super soft? You can make them at home too. To do this, you will need to dilute the base in 5 liters of water at room temperature and let it rest for 2 hours. Add 10 liters of water, stir well and let it rest for another 2 hours. Add 8 liters of water, stir well and let it restIn another container, mix the remaining 2 liters of water, the essence, the preservative, and the colorant. Add this second mixture to the softener and mix them until they are homogeneous. If you notice that there is some granulation left, sift it. Now, just keep it in the container you want to store it in and use it whenever you want.

7. creamy softener

To make this creamy softener you will heat the water to a temperature of about 60°C to 70°C, i.e. before it starts boiling (water boils at 100°C). Cut the softener base into small pieces and pour them into the hot water without removing the pan from the heat. Mix until completely dissolved. As soon as the water starts boiling, remove the pan from the heat and stir until the softener is melted.Let it cool down, add the oil, and mix well.
