What will you need?

  • Nails
  • Scissors
  • Hammer
  • String or twine
  • Pencil and paper
  • Rubber
  • Small clamps

Step 1: draw a sketch

Before starting the mural, it is important to sketch out on a piece of paper how the nails will be arranged on the wall, and the order in which the clothes line or string will run through them.

Step 2: move the sketch to the wall

After sketching it on paper, it is time to move on to the wall: draw with the pencil (in a very thin line) the design that the mural will have, marking, also, the place where the nails will be. Place them with the help of the hammer and then erase the lines previously made.

Step 3: Braid the yarn

You can either knot the nails, or simply twist the thread more than twice around the nails.

Step 4: Just attach your photos

With the wire already on the wall, just take small clips and fasteners to attach your favorite pictures, and after these few steps, you will have an amazing personalized mural on your wall.
